Early 20th Century folk art carved oak Joan the wad Piskey shop sign
We are proud to offer a unique hand carved oak wood folk art Joan the wad piskey shop sign dated circa 1930. This item was uncovered in an old barn find earlier this month. The barn was once owned by a well-respected local wood carver and tree surgeon in Cornwall United Kingdom. We feel this would likely have been a project made by the wood carver or a commissioned piece of work that never made it out of the barn, although primitively detailed in form its charming artistic and visual look would make a great decorative piece of art in our opinion.
