The item shows great detail with some wonderful color across the whole cranium, and upper teeth section. The item has a broken front nasal section however this we believe was present when the person died (collectors insight) The skull also has a strange calcium growth sectioned on the reverse of the cranium which allows the skull to balance as shown in the last photo provided.

The Human Skull 004

For sale in this LOT is an exceptional human skull which shows wonderful brown color, patina, markings and age. The item is sold as seen so please play close attention to the photos provided. The Mandible is missing never the less this item has a great look as its stands alone. Due to its age this item is fragile however in one solid piece and can be used as a curio or macabre decorative item. It’s an old medical item which was sourced from a private collector in Paris. The item shows great detail with some wonderful color across the whole cranium, and upper teeth section. The item has a broken front nasal section however this we believe was present when the person died (collectors insight) The skull also has a strange calcium growth sectioned on the reverse of the cranium which allows the skull to balance as shown in the last photo provided. The props used in this advert are not included in the sale and the skull is sold alone as seen.

Please take into consideration when buying fragile items that The House of Antiques are not responsible for any breaks or damaged caused whilst the item is in transit. If damage does take place whilst the item is in transit we will aim to seek compensation from the courier on your behalf and keep the buyer updated with progress made to reimburse the buyer with damage costs. The House of Antiques will not refund the costs of damaged and postage until the courier has resolved the damages claim we have proposed on the buyer behalf. Additional to this we use a few carefully selected couriers in the UK to deliver our most fragile or larger item. We do no refund our customers if they choose to change their mind about the purchase unfortunately, we will however offer a full refund of the item (excluding postage) if the item once received is not as described, this however can only take place within 48hr of the item being received by the customer. Once an item has been received and if a cancellation has been agreed by The House of Antiques management team, the customer is liable for the cost and insurance of postage if the item needs to be sent back to us in London.
