For Sale in this LOT is a very unusual and unique handmade antique fairground game golfing figure made from Papier Mache. The item is hand made from scratch and hand painted, it stands without a base. The item would have originally been used as part of a set of 7 figures that would have been lined up at the end of an old fashioned french horse race game in the 1950 to 1960s. We have another figure in our store so please view that also if you wish. This is a rare and very collectable fairground antique artefact. The set is a one off and we have been lucky to get our hands on 3 examples.

Vintage French Fairground Racing Game Papier Mache Statue (without base)

For Sale in this LOT is a very unusual and unique handmade antique fairground game golfing figure made from Papier Mache. The item is hand made from scratch and hand painted, it stands without a base. The item would have originally been used as part of a set of 7 figures that would have been lined up at the end of an old fashioned french horse race game in the 1950 to 1960s. In conclusion this is an original french fairground antique a very unique and highly collectable artefact for true fairground collectors. It has a great nostalgic look with a wonderful overall patina.

Dimensions: H 37” x W 13” x D 13”

Condition:

The item is completely solid and structurally sound, it shows age through wear and tear which can be seen through scratches, scuffs and faded patina to the paint work. The head has a dent across the top however it’s structurally sound and in one piece. It’s strongly suggested to view all close up photos provided and ask questions before a purchase is made to avoid disappointment.
