A very rare Cooperative Bank Gents Master Clock
Quite simply this is one of the best examples of a station clock we have ever seen.
The item for sale is a very rare huge metal double sided illuminated glass fascia Cooperative Bank branded GENTS of Leicester Station clock obtained from London Bridge station.
This item is electric powered illuminated on both sides for a great visual effect, it has the original master clock movement in place and working perfectly. The double sided clock is enclosed in a cast metal black painted frame and supported by its original cast iron side bracket which has been rotated perfectly to act as supporting base that the clock can sit out.
The item is a complete original and a one off, obtained from an old clock makers in London Bond Street, it really is a gem of a historic time piece. This item is a true statement item either in any home or retail space. The Gents movement is second to none and the movement is on the button also. The edge of the internal frame next to the fascia has signs of rust due to age.
A super cool and very rare time piece that is very decorative and unique to say the least, this item would look wonderful in a cool retro shop or any cool interior. One thing I can assure you is that you won’t find another one like it in such original and good condition on the market at present.
