Antique 19th Century Carved Wooden Violin Plaster Moulds with Decorative Stands.
The item for sale is a wonderful set of 2 decorative 19th century hand carved wooden violins that would have been originally used to mould either plaster statues or papier Mache moulds. The items are completely in original condition and mounted onto bespoke cast metal black stands. They are without doubt very decorative and artistic in appearance and hold a very artistic and nostalgic visual effect. The items show age and wear and tear through rusty nails that have been used to put sections of the violin together. The wood is antique so expect them to be weathered and aged in appearance. The items are securely fixed to the stands however can be removed if unscrewed. It’s suggested to view all the photos provided before purchase and ask question to avoid disappointment.
