Antique Passe-Boules Fairground Game Circa 1920
On sale in this LOT is a rare French fairground folk-art Passé-boules ball toss game circa 1920, made from wood, painted polychrome and lithographed paper print on the front.
Antique ball toss game, so-called passé-boule high-rectangular, box-shaped structure centric at the lower part circular opening for the ball at the base a tripartite drawer, slanting downwards towards the front with score inscriptions obverse fitted with lithographed paper depicting a detailed rendered a French Musketeer with his mouth wide open.

Condition: Overall this items in good condition, consistent with age, this item is an antique fairground artefact so expect wear and tear, structurally sound, wonderful condition considering its age fascinating relict from the history of fun fairs / fairgrounds from the Golden Age of the art of showmen. The item shows obvious scratches, a crack to the left front section and light wood surface wear to the base as highlighted in the close up shots provided.
